None of the Sincerely Us girls are Megan’s “friend zero”. She was introduced to Ho-Jung over 15 years ago through her best friend from high school. Amy came into her life 7-ish years ago through several people. For some reason Megan and Amy knew all the same people but didn’t know each other. From there, Amy introduced Megan to Amanda (Amy’s sister) and Sincerely Us was born. Well, not really because it is just born now, but you get the point.
Before chatting it up with her Sincerely Us co-authors, Megan’s fashion interest was pretty low and she really only got dressed in actual clothes for work meetings and going out to dinner. This presented a real struggle since her work-from-home uniform (and therefore closet) was pretty much sweatpants, workout clothes or pajamas. As the group started following other bloggers, Megan decided it was maybe time to have more options aside from the “just from the gym” and “I literally woke up like this” looks she had been cultivating for so long. Megan likes to scope out great deals but will also spend more on basic, non-trend pieces.
When it comes to fitness, Megan is a big fan and believes it keeps her sane. She has done a few triathlons, a half-marathon, and a 50-mile relay race. She chooses her races based on weather during training and race time, the kind of shirt she gets for running it, and the food and drinks at the finish line. She has been getting sucked into more races with the Sincerely Us gang and has finally decided to call herself “a runner” even though she generally does not love it. Megan is also certified to teach barre and P90x live.
Megan lives in organized chaos with her husband and 2 daughters, all of whom are super pumped that they have to take pictures of her for this blog. Her posts, like her mail and laundry, will be all over the place. She loves to travel, hates winter, and believes that all shirts should have thumb holes.
