Resolution Solution

Resolution Solution

Well, it’s February which means it’s time to talk about what failures we are because we bailed on our resolutions. Take one of my resolutions for example, “Less time on social media.” Obviously, my first step was starting a blog with friends that runs on several social media platforms. #killingit

Luckily, much like “my kid is a stubborn beast” becomes “my child is spirited,” your resolutions can also be spun to show your success. Clearly I meant spend less time on social media that makes me want to rip my hair out. So, I really am making baby steps towards success and am not a total resolution loser. We started a blog of fun stuff we like and discuss things that help us escape from our everyday responsibilities. You will not find controversy here that will rip people apart. Well, maybe a few topics will. For example, here are the things that are keeping me up at night:

  1. Is wearing black and navy together happening now? I feel like this is the first fashion rule I was ever taught. If this old standby is out the window, who knows what the next new fashion rule will be??  (author’s note: please let it be bras always are optional)
It’s hard to tell that the lace edging is navy on this black shirt, but it’s all I can see! If it’s your jam, shop it here: Shirt (additional 40% off) and flats (size down half size)

2. This controversial topic can divide families, especially at holiday functions when it is at the forefront of everyone’s mind. Is there a right way to load a dishwasher? The answer is a resounding YES.

Like a perfect game of Tetris.

Enjoy the controversy-free zone of Sincerely Us (though once my husband sees that I now found a way to CORRECTLY load our dishwasher, there will be controversy). Kick back in your hoodie footie jammies with a warm or chilled beverage and escape from it all, even those failed resolutions.

Sincerely Megan

P.S. – Where do you fall on the black and navy debate??? Sound off in the comments.
